Banana, Blueberry and Peanut Butter Smoothie

When I asked for smoothie suggestions on Instagram someone mentioned the idea of adding peanut butter and I knew I had to try it. How delicious! Banana, blueberry and peanut butter is one of my favourite oatmeal topping combinations so I decided it would be my first experiment into peanut butter in smoothies.

Can I say, I was very impressed! I've been using coconut water in my smoothies instead of almond milk and I think I actually prefer it, I like the slight hint of coconut, it complements the flavours well. I use Zico coconut water in mine, I like how it's not from concentrate and is nice and fresh tasting.

You will need:
3 frozen and chopped up bananas
1 cup frozen blueberries
2 cups coconut water (I use Zico)
2-3 tbsps natural smooth peanut butter

Put everything in a blender and blend, blend, blend! Pour into a tall glass and top with whatever your heart desires. Feel the health radiating out of your body because of how healthy and nutritious your breakfast was!

    I heard we should only eat a certain amount of nuts per day (about a fist size). Do you know if it is true? I usually crave for PB at breakfast and for some afternoon snack before I workout...
