Spicy Satay Sauce

By Saturday, April 19, 2014 , , ,

This works amazingly with rice paper rolls or on stirfries, it adds a delicious creaminess and hit of chilli and it's also so easy to make! I personally use peanut flour because it's a lot easier to combine with water when it has been defatted, but I'm sure it'd work with regular peanut butter too if you changed up the amount of water a little.

Makes enough for 2 people

1/4 cup peanut flour
1-2 tbsp tamari soy sauce
1/4 cup water
A pinch of chilli flakes

Simply combine in a small bowl until it's smooth and there are no lumps, then drizzle on your favourite stirfry or dip in your rice paper rolls! This also keeps in the fridge for a few days afterwards

    1. I bought it online! Peanut flour is dried powder, peanut butter is runny and contains oil :)
